"Time is what we want most, but what we use worst." - William Penn

I don’t know about you, but for me, time is all I’ve got most days. Every minute not billed is a minute, well, not billed. I am routinely faced with the need to deliver stuff to my clients, but I don’t want to waste their time and money paying me to make a delivery. Enter…the courier!

I have found that utilizing a courier is one of the most cost effective ways of efficiently getting something somewhere. Today, for example, a courier is making a delivery for me – pick up at 8:30A delivered by noon - all for $11. Excellent!

Where do you find a courier? I am a member of the local Chamber of Commerce and utilize fellow Chamber members whenever possible; my courier of choice is A&V Daily Courier - (651) 905-1213. If you’re in the Twin Cities Metro Area, give them a try!

If you are overwhelmed by the number of e-mail messages in your Inbox, consider using rules. I can review the e-mails sent when I have free time rather than sort through my Inbox every time I open e-mail. more

Color adds visibility to your Outlook items. Color categories can be assigned to
email messages in Microsoft Outlook, which enables you to quickly identify them
and associate them with related items. You can assign more than one color category to messages, or use a Quick Click category (Quick Click category: A default color category that is assigned to an item when you click the Categories column for the item in your Inbox or other table view. You set this color category from the Categorize menu.) to click once and assign a color category to a message
in your Inbox.

This is a a useful way to see, at a glance, e-mail from important senders, and it's a way to delay being forced to read spam e-mail.  If you receive a lot of e-mail, you probably can't color-code every single sender. But you can use this tip to color-code certain types of messages, such as those from your manager or your employees or even those sent just to you. more
